How will FEDs merge changes in Virtual sandbox if multiple FEDs are working on the same feature?
Merging of changes only happens in source control. After a Front-end developer is happy with his/her changes inside the sandboxed virtual environment, they can have the changes committed/checked-into source control. Next, other Front-end developers can get the latest front-end code changes from source control and merge them with their own changes, after which, they can check for issues by getting copies of the changes to their own virtual sandbox environment.
